What we collect on this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 22 October 2026.

The short version

Who we are

Upsaider runs upsaider.com and decides how the data on this page is used. You can reach us at hi@upsaider.com.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry

Your name, email, business name or website, and anything you choose to tell us about your business. We store it, and it’s emailed to us so we can reply. With it, we store a scrambled version of your IP address (a salted hash), used only to stop the same sender flooding the form.

When you visit the site

We use PostHog to see which pages are read, what’s clicked, where visitors came from (including campaign links), and how far people get through the enquiry form. PostHog receives your IP address and uses it to work out an approximate location, like the country or city. We never send what you type into the form. No cookies or other data are stored on your device, and if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we don’t measure your visit at all.

When you email us

Your email and anything in it, so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.

Why we use it

Who processes it for us

These companies may process data outside your country, including in the United States. They do it under their own data protection terms, such as the EU’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and emails stay as long as we’re talking or working together. If we don’t end up working together, we delete them within 24 months. Analytics data is kept under PostHog’s retention for our account.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email hi@upsaider.com and we’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn’t meant for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change how we use data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
